Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination, widely known as AEEE Exam, is a CBT exam conducted for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University B.Tech Admissions. It is conducted in two phases across the 8 campuses of Amrita University. The first phase has concluded, but the phase 2 registrations are ongoing. The deadline to apply for the phase 2 exam is April 15, 2026. AEEE Exam Eligibility Criteria 

In order to be eligible for the AEEE Exam, B.Tech aspirants must meet the following criteria:

  • Students must have passed the 10+2 level examination or any equivalent exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. 
  • Students must have obtained 60% marks in the Class 12 exam. 
  • Age of candidates should fall between July 1, 2005, and June 30, 2010.

AEEE Exam Slot Booking Details

Students appearing for the AEEE Exam Phase 2 need to book time slots for exams on the official portal. For the Phase 2 exam, the slot bookings will open from April 10, 2026, to April 20, 2026. Follow the given steps to book AEEE entrance exam slots for Phase 2 Exam:

  • Do the AEEE Exam login at the official website.
  • Use the registered email ID and Mobile Number for login.
  • Enter the received OTP
  • Select the Preferred test date, time, and Centre based on availability. The process is based on first-cum-first -serve basis. 
  •  Once the slot booking is confirmed, it cannot be changed. 
  • A confirmation message will be received on the registered phone number, along with a confirmation prompt on the computer screen. 

Students have to select three cities for exam centres. Students are advised to book early to get the preferred slots. Further, if students do not exercise the slot booking process,  the whole date and time slot booking process will be automated. The slots are automatically allotted 7 days prior to the first exam date. 

AEEE Exam Admit Card 

Once the slot booking is done, the AEEE entrance exam admit card will be available shortly on the official website. Students need to download the admit card online, and it is not sent by post. Students need to use their registered Email ID and phone number for the AEEE Exam login. Once logged in with the OTP, students need to download the admit card and print a copy. Keep the hard copy and a valid ID to carry to the AEEE Exam Centre on the day of the exam.  The admit card contains the following information:
