Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission(TNEA), conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, is a centralised process for engineering admissions. TNEA offers candidates the opportunity to take admission in various universities and engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu. TNEA’s counselling process is based on the student’s 12th standard marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. Aggregate marks from these subjects are used to prepare the merit list.
Candidates have to fill out the TNEA application form and submit the necessary documents required for the TNEA counselling process. The TNEA counselling process is an online, single-window counselling system and is done in multiple phases. Students can choose their preferred colleges, and are allotted colleges based on the category and their performance in the 12th-class exams.
