Candidates must know the difference between the cutoff and the rank. Here is the table to help you spot the difference between them:

Section Details
WBJEE Cutoff WBJEE cut-off is the minimum score that a candidate needs to achieve in WBJEE to qualify for admissions to the engineering colleges.
WBJEE Rank The rank is allotted to the candidates based on their marks in the WBJEE exam. The rank decides the priority order for seat allocation into the participating colleges.

Factors Involved in Calculating WBJEE Cutoff

The WBJEE cutoff is determined based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the WBJEE examination.
